A weekend to remember

What a great weekend for the 2026 PIC Harbour Classic.
This year really felt like an event in every sense - from the atmosphere on the water, boats in Jellicoe Harbour, the Osprey afterparty, and a great social buzz right across the weekend. The conditions may not have delivered big breeze, but they did deliver something just as important - a chance for everyone to be part of it. And to be honest, that’s exactly what this event is all about.
We’re not just running a race - this is an event. It’s about being part of something bigger - a shared experience both on and off the harbour, not just who gets across the line first.
A big congratulations to all our winners - you can check out the full results on our website or here.
One of the real highlights this year was having 36 Degrees involved, bringing along a fantastic mix of Beneteau, Lagoon and Excess boats. Having a diverse fleet and more cruising-style boats in the mix really adds to what this event is about - inclusion, variety, and getting more people involved.
It changes the feel of the whole fleet in the best possible way and is something we’re keen to keep building on.
Looking ahead to next year, it’s shaping up to be a busy one on the calendar with the Ocean Race in Auckland, SailGP back, and all the usual fixtures like the Boat Show.
We’re working on locking in our date but with all this activity, we probably won’t be able to announce it till later in the year. In the meantime, tell your mates.
This is the kind of event they can join, have fun, and who knows… maybe even become part of its story as it continues to grow.
